Moreover, there is a pool of 40m2 with a separate heated jacuzzi of 6 people and outdoor space made of stone with sunbeds for relaxation, sitting areas, dining areas, a barbecue, and a wood stove. You can rest with your friends and your family there.

The interior of Villa Enigma Crete includes a kitchen fully equipped with inox electrical appliances, a dining room, a living room with a fireplace and a smart TV with a keyboard, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Eirini and Giorgos's house is the home you've always dreamt about. It's got everything you need and more. It is situated in the mountains, with breathtaking sea view. The house is surrounded by orange, lemon, mandarine, vines, and olive trees. They also have a small vegetable garden where you can pick season vegetables for your salad. When we got to the house, Ireini was waiting for us with a warm delicious homemade meal. She also had a lot of groceries for us, including wine, milk, bread, cookies for our kids, and a fresh cut salad. The house is beautiful - the pictures simply don't do it justice. It is clean and spacious and has everything you need -- from a full powered kitchen to a new washing machine, a spot to hang your wet clothes, a shower with glass roof where you can take a shower and look at the sky, comfortable beds, and most importantly - its spotless clean! Eirini thought about e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! The pool is a treat, and the Jacuzzi is wonderful especially on cold days. They also have an incredible sound system if you want to listen to some music while you are outside. Lastly they have a wonderful barbecue which we used to cook some of our meals. We spent four nights in this dream house, two of which were very stormy but we had such a great time, and also enjoyed the games they have in the house. Thank you Ireini and Giorgos for making this a home away from home. We can't wait to come back.

We had a really amazing vacation in this villa. If you wake up in the morning and step outside of the villa on the terasse and you will hear your music coming from the pool, feel the sun on your skin and overlooking the sea, it is absolutely amazing…
We had a really amazing vacation in this villa. If you wake up in the morning and step outside of the villa on the terasse and you will hear your music coming from the pool, feel the sun on your skin and overlooking the sea, it is absolutely amazing. The beautiful garden which surrounds this vila is also so so nice. Eirini is a wonderful host and available all the time to help with whatever we needed. She welcomed us with a selfcooked dinner and some water and wine. To keep it short: wonderful clean villa with breathtaking views and a wonderful host. We will come back!!!

A great place to stay

This is an incredible find. If you plan on spending more then a couple days on the east side of Crete, do yourself a favor and rent this place.

 Eirina met us at the house with a fresh meal made from vegetables from their garden. The pool was wonderful after each day’s adventures, the kitchen had all we needed and the house overall was very comfortable and relaxing. A grocery store (Lidl) was just 5 min away so it was easy to get supplies for breakfast and some meals, but the food is so good it is definitely worth eating out too. We highly recommend Gioma in Agios Nikolaus. Very tasty food served family style. One other note the artwork in the house is Eirina’s - very cool hosts. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible home!

We had a superb time, Thank you again Erini and Giorgios for being such great hosts ! They could not have tried harder to make us feel welcome and popped in regularly to check we had everything we needed and to share some delicious treats, which was very thoughtful! The villa itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean, it was comfortable for seven adults and was finished to a really high standard. It also has lots of little personal touches including some of Erini’s art work. The kitchen is really well equipped which was great as we made the most of eating in and using the fab BBQ! The outside areas were also great, the pool and jacuzzi is a decent size but was best about it were the stunning views. The villa is set up on a small hill so you can see right across the bay. The outside speakers were also a nice touch and because it is a very private location we didn’t need to worry about disturbing anyone playing music. The rest of the compound was really nice with loads of fruit & olive trees to wander around. As previously mentioned the place was spotlessly clean and we felt very safe in relation to Covid. Erini always wore a face mask when greeting us and took all the expected measures. The area was great it’s a 5 min drive into Agios Nikolaus so easy enough to get a taxi into town (About 8 euro) but I would recommend getting a car to make the most of the trip. In the town there are plenty of great restaurant and the food was delicious ! Lots of nice fresh seafood and traditional Grecian dishes. We also chartered a boat from the town which was a fantastic day out, the sea was so warm (27c !).There are lots of nice local beaches and Erini is able to recommend ! On the whole we had a fab time and I would 100% recommend the villa !!

The villa is set in a beautiful location, up in the hills above the town of Agios Nikolaos with great views across the bay. Very quiet (which we wanted) but within easy reach (less than 5 minutes drive) of the nearby beaches, town, shops, bars and supermarkets…
The villa is set in a beautiful location, up in the hills above the town of Agios Nikolaos with great views across the bay. Very quiet (which we wanted) but within easy reach (less than 5 minutes drive) of the nearby beaches, town, shops, bars and supermarkets. The property is secured with electric gates to park your car inside the compound and the inner gardens are well landscaped around the pool area and outdoor seating area, with the outer gardens having olive trees and fruit trees surrounding the property. The kitchen is particularly well stocked with a wide variety of cooking implements, and comes with complimentary condiments, herbs, olive oil, teas, coffee, etc. The owners also provide a wonderful meal on arrival which was incredibly tasty and additional treats, plus a bottle of wine and water.

Beautiful property, immaculately clean -smelt lovely & fresh when we arrived. Lots of “extras” including some food supplies, homegrown treats, a delicious homemade Cretan meal on arrival, pool towels, some toiletries etc made it nice & easy to settle in & relax. They had thought of everything you could possibly need.Eirini & Giorgios are wonderful hosts who live close by but are unobtrusive in your stay. Always on hand if needed & respond quickly to any questions. They recommended some perfect places to visit & helped us book a brilliant boat experience.We hired a car which we felt was necessary as the property is tucked away & not really walking distance to anywhere. The location suited us as it was private & quiet-perfect for late night swims to cool off! The lovely scenery surrounded by olive groves with a view into Agios Nikolaos, the sea & mountains; was picture perfect. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The space in the property & outside worked brilliantly for us.

The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were modern and very well maintained. The host really thinks of everything and was well stocked with everything we needed. We were welcomed with some homemade dolmades, salad and wine which after a full day of traveling was a lovely treat to just relax and enjoy the pool, house and some private family time. The house is a good base for exploring the island with your car. You can't walk to anything but is convenient to many of the places we wanted to go.

We had the most warming welcome with a delicious home cooked meal in the oven. The smell upon arrival combined with the good music playing through the speakers by the pool and the remarkable view made us speechless. Eirini puts a lot of love and effort into all the details, we felt like at home and yet so relaxed like on vacation. The kids loved to explore the olive trees and the area around the house and our daily highlights were the meals under the covered outside patio with a stunning view.

Amazing!

The whole property felt very special and we had an amazing time. The town is only a few minutes away or a short taxi ride and it is definitely worth it to have peace and quiet by the private pool.

We had the most wonderful time at Giorgos’s villa. Not only was the view and accommodations unbelievable but his wife went above and beyond taking care of us. We were welcomed with a lovely home made meal with fresh veggies, fruits and some local wine. We were shown everything and were able to contact our host at anytime. The view from the villa was breathtaking and it was very close to town. I would highly recommend staying at Giorgos’s place.

Definitely an inviting place to stay

An ideal place to relax. With amazing views, close to the city and with ideals that take care of the detail to a minimum. The hostess was charming, being available all the time, she even left us a typical Greek dish in the fridge made by her mother.

We can’t rate this villa highly enough. Everything about it is just beautiful from the decor, the view, the grounds, the pool and the fantastic hosts. There was a home cooked meal waiting for us when we arrived which was delicious and a home cooked pastry (also delicious!) later in the week. We are a family of 5 with older teenagers and there was plenty of room. One of the double bedrooms is in a slightly separate annexe. It’s a short drive into the town which has lots of restaurants and shops. Covid wise, we felt very secure. The villa was spotlessly clean and we were really only outside other than in supermarkets (where everyone wore masks).

We found the villa in best conditions and were pleased by the little „welcome package“ with some olives and pastries etc. The villa and veranda was very clean and we felt at home from the beginning. One could feel that Eirini and her husband strive to do the best for their guests. Unfortunately, we only had three nights in this gorgeous villa with the great view. Next time we would like to stay longer :-)

Eirini is an exceptional host and so very kind. It’s all the little details that stand out. From the first meeting with her to the homemade meal left for us on the first evening, the baked goods provided, the fridge essentials for our first breakfast, the fresh produce from her garden, all the various jams, spreads, honey, oil and olives to the incredible outdoor spaces, pool, views. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need to make meals and it’s all of high quality. The beds were very comfortable and all the linens high quality. Everything speaks to top customer service, comfort, and quality to enable the guest to just relax. Eirini was very accommodating to us for our check in and check out times. We were so appreciative for her support. My sister and I travel together a lot and always talk about how hosts of properties can make a big impact if they do it well. Eirini is one of the best and goes above and beyond.
