The traditional stone-built Lithos Villas has become the perfect destination for relaxing and peaceful holidays combining harmonically the tradition with distinctive luxuriousness. Lithos Villas are built at the foothills of this legendary mountain.

Kefalos Villa at Lithos Villas Kefalonia is a traditional stone-built ground floor residence of 100 sq. meters and can accommodate up to five people. Entering the house visitors encounter the large open-plan area where the kitchen, dining, and living room are. The earthy hues and the white of the wooden roof combined with elegant decoration, create a sense of intimacy and a mood of relaxation.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils and appliances. A pleasant impression to guests will be caused by the special color contrast of the traditionally designed dining set in relation to other calm shades prevailing in the area.

In the lounge, there are 3-seater and 2-seater sofas and a coffee table that "follows" the general style of the dining set. The fireplace, for those cold winter days, and the 40" LED TV with free satellite channels, Blue-Ray DVD/CD player for endless hours of entertainment and information. The view to the deep blue Ionian Sea merging with the distant horizon through the large sliding terrace doors is literally breathtaking!

The simple but not plain shared main bathroom has been carefully designed and constructed in such a way so it can comfortably accommodate people with special mobility needs.

Moving towards the bedrooms you will find yourself in a place that is appropriately configured for any office work that may occur. The extremely fast free broadband wireless internet is covering all indoor and outdoor areas of the property!

In the master bedroom the earthy color hues, the king-size bed with anatomic mattress, and the lovely and unobstructed views of the blue waters of the Ionian Sea and the distant horizon offer serenity, relaxation, and tranquility! In the same room, there is an en-suite bathroom with special details as well as a bathtub and stony washbasin.

The second bedroom consists of two single beds while the colors harmonically follow the style of the villa. The large patio door leads you to the beautiful and colorful flowers, fruit trees, and olive trees garden. In each bedroom, there are air-conditioning units, spacious closets, a dressing table, and two bedside tables.

In the exterior area, the villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens with flowers, fruit trees, and olives trees. In the front side of the villa lies the wooden pergola with a comfortable seating set allowing guests to "savor" moments of absolute relaxation. Just a few steps away the private infinity-edge fully automatic swimming pool is situated. The pool of approximately 30 sq. meters, with variable depth and swallow end, is suitable for children. Around the pool, there are wooden sun loungers, umbrellas, and small convenient tables.

Within an area of 150 sq. meters covered by a green lawn, there is the stone-built BBQ and a complete set of wooden tables and chairs. Live the magical experience of comfort, luxury, and relaxation in villa Kefalos treating yourself to a barbeque night under the starry clear sky! It should be noted that all areas, both indoor and outdoor, are directly and easily accessible from people with special mobility needs.

Our family of four have just returned from Villa Kefalos where we had a fabulous time enjoying all that the island has to offer with the added luxury of returning everyday to a beautiful and extremely comfortable villa. Very private and spacious grounds meant that relaxing, swimming in the pool and generally soaking up the amazing views surrounding the villa was often preferable to touring round. Fortunately we booked for two weeks and so were able to do both! Although the area is quite peaceful, there are several good tavernas and a couple of mini markets within easy walking distance. The nearest beach Kanali, is a 10 to 15 minute walk but is rewarded with great views and swimming on a quiet stretch of the bay. Further afield we enjoyed visiting Argostoli, Sami and Fiskardo among others. Haris our host was very friendly and always happy to help, the extra touches he gives really enhanced our stay and feeling of welcome. Overall we would highly recommend staying at Lithos villas and intend to rebook in the not too distant future.

The Villa is tucked away in a private location yet within walking distance of beaches and facilities such as supermarkets and tavernas. It is beautifully designed and has far reaching views of the surrounding hills and sea. Haris Kounadis, our host is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for him, making our stay an immensely pleasurable one. Kefalonia is a truly beautiful island and being based at the Villa made the whole experience top class!

I was looking for somewhere romantic to take my wife for her 50th Birthday and we stumbled upon Lithos Villas. From the moment we contacted the owner Haris to enquire he made the whole booking process and the actual holiday itself totally stress free! The Lithos Villa complex is set high in the hills of the beautiful island of Kefalonia. We booked Villa Kefalos for 7 nights and it was worth every penny. Having stayed in many countries and many villas l can hand on heart say that Villa Kefalos knocked spots off them all. The villa was spectacular and immaculate in every way. We spent a lot of time in the Villa just relaxing and taking in the stunning views no matter what direction you looked. Haris even arranged a 50th Birthday Cake for my wife on our arrival. As we didn't hire a car it was nice that the mini markets, restaurants and beaches where all within walking distance. Haris even helped arrange a sight seeing minibus trip around the island and again the sights and the views of Kefalonia are to die for. We had a fantastic time and cannot thank Haris enough for everything. We loved it so much we booked again for next year before we caught the flight home. 5 **** villa with a 5 **** host.

We spent 2 weeks at Villa Kefalos. The villa is in a peaceful location with a view of the coast and mountains. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Haris replied quickly to the questions we asked him via e-mail, and called round to sort out any problems, which were only minor ones. Haris was kind enough to leave us food and wine for our arrival, and we had another edible treat during our stay. He was helpful in suggesting places to visit. We travelled a lot during our stay, sightseeing most of the island. We found the Villa Kefalos a lovely place to come home to. We hope to return before too long. Roger

We returned a week ago from the most incredible two weeks in Villa Kefalos, part of the Lithos Villas group. We have stayed in many luxurious villas but have never experienced anything like this. Firstly the Villa itself is just beautiful - the views from the fabulous infinity pool are stunning and it was very hard for us to actually tear ourselves away to go and do anything else. The Villa is so well equipped and beautifully decorated. It has such a calm, tranquil and relaxing feel to it. There is so much outdoor space with the pool, the beautiful gardens and the barbecue area - all with the same stunning view of the Med to the front and Mount Ainos at the back. The owner Haris is just amazing - so thoughtful with some unique and special little touches which I won't go into too much detail so as not to ruin the surprise. Haris could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble - he was always available to answer any questions and was a fantastic source of knowledge about the many wonderful restaurants and tavernas in the area. The area is perfect - lots of superb restaurants within walking distance so it is possible not to need a car however, we did rent a car for the full two weeks as we wanted to see much more of this beautiful Island. Having said that I would have been quite happy to sit by the pool every day for 2 weeks doing absolutely nothing other than relaxing and taking in the view and the incredible sunsets. This is without a doubt the best and most relaxing holiday villa ever and I wish I could give it 10 stars and couldn't recommend it and Haris enough. We will be back for sure and have passed the details on to many friends who have seen my photos on Facebook!

We returned for our second stay at Villa Kefalos, we were lucky enough to stay for 17 days in early April and apart from one day of rain, the sun shone and it was lovely and warm. Villa Kefalos was just as wonderful as last year, the pictures on the website are really amazing, but it is EVEN better in real life. It is also modern, fresh and beautifully clean. Haris was there to meet us on arrival and was there to see us off. We knew he was contactable if he needed him, but he was in no way intrusive. Haris is so lovely and helpful and clearly has a good eye for quality and design, nothing is too much trouble. I would also say the booking process and information is excellent. There were some special touches and surprises, but I do not want to spoil it for anyone, so will not say more :-) It is so helpful that there were dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, baking paper/foil/cling film, LOADS of towels, it was fab and generous that there were some really useful provisions for us on arrival. The panoramic views, what can I say, they are truly beautiful. Lying by the pool with the sun shining, listening to the distant bells of the mountain goats, whilst watching eagles fly up in the mountain....it is my happy place and yes, we have already booked to go back next year! We had told friends how amazing it is and they came out for a week at the same time as us and stayed in Villa Ainos, they LOVED it and have also booked again for next year. April is a quiet time in Kefalonia and that is why we love it, nearby Lorraine's Magic Hill restaurant opens at the beginning of April and is fab, we had amazing meals at Il Borgo which is not too far as well. We get the beaches to ourselves and there is no traffic on the road, the spring flowers are beautiful too. Roll on 2018, we cannot wait to return to our 'happy place'!

This was our second visit to Villa Kefalos in the quiet town just outside Trapezaki, the first being in 2014. It felt good to be back: the villa showed no sign of wear and tear after two years, which is a real testament to the attention given by the owner, both to the property and to his guests. Comfortable beds, towels replaced twice during our week's visit, wine, milk, bread and fruit waiting us on arrival, taxis arranged by request to and from the airport, and a view to die for every morning - a real sense of peace and luxury. This villa is an ideal retreat for adults and children alike - the pool and wifi kept our teenagers happy, and if restless, we all trooped down the cliff path to the beach for the most secluded beach and gorgeous waves. Maybe we will rent a car and explore the rest of the island if we return - but the temptation to lie back and properly relax is overwhelming!

We stayed at villa Kefalos for a week 26/6/16 after searching for something a little special for our wedding anniversary and 40th birthdays. The villa did not disappoint!! It was even better than the pictures. Stunning scenery with sea views from the private infinity pool and beautiful mountains in the background. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, peaceful and relaxing. Haris, the owner was there to meet us upon arrival with a most welcome gift of essentials (bread, milk etc). We wondered into the village and tried out the various tavernas which were all good. We especially liked Captain Zorbas. We would recommend car hire to explore this beautiful island. However, there is a lovely beach and mini markets within walking distance. We have been to Kefalonia 6 times now and can honestly say this was the best place we have ever stayed. Thank you Haris and Eva. We will be back

Whow, Whow, Whow! This villa has everything. Views to die for, excellent facilities, well equipped, stylish and comfortable. It is also very private and peaceful, with just the gentle chimes of the bells of the local goat herd, as they move down through the village. We were met by Haris the owner, who was very helpful and spoke excellent English. He was there if you needed him but happy to leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. The perfect host. The pool area and gardens were fantastic with the best possible views across the bay and with mountain views behind the villa. All rooms were on one level and there were slopes in the garden leading to the various terraces and BBQ area. There are several restaurants and tavernas within 15 -20 minute walk, although this is uphill. We ate out quite a bit trying 5 different places. We ate most at one of the tavernas (Captain Zorbas) as this was so reasonable and the owner was very friendly and always throwing in free starters, desserts or wine! We used the BBQ at the villa a couple of times and purchased steak and burgers from the local butcher which were very tasty. We have never seen steaks so big. Local shops stock most basic food supplies. A car is needed to really make the most of your holiday and to be able to explore this beautiful island. This villa really has it all - the only thing we disliked was having to come home. Thank you Haris and Lithos Villas for enabling us to have a wonderful holiday.
