Sami Beach Villas is a small complex of four villas, each totally independent of each other, stylishly furnished with private pools. Located just 50m from the sea in the village of Karavomilos, district of Sami on the eastern side of Kefalonia.

Villa Fedra the second of the four villas has three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 persons, an individually styled villa offers total comfort for an enjoyable stay, the open plan downstairs area includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining, and lounge area which leads out onto the terrace of the villa with private pool, sun loungers for soaking up the sun and relaxing. A BBQ and outside dining area add to this already perfect setting in privately established gardens. Villa Fedra has one twin bedded bedroom and two doubles, two bathrooms made up of one family bathroom downstairs and a bathroom with shower upstairs.

The lounge area of the villa Fedra offers indoor comfort with satellite TV, DVD, and Wi-Fi access. Whilst the kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. All windows and doors are fitted with mosquito screens, air conditioning/heating system throughout the villa. Being set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and just 50m from the beach and a 15-minute stroll from the center of Sami this location offers everything you could wish for to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

So quiet and private - just perfect

We booked a villa during Covid-19 as we thought that being somewhere on our own would be the best way to have the time to "come up for air" as we both worked all the way through lockdown here in UK and will do so now until Christmas.We made the best…
We booked a villa during Covid-19 as we thought that being somewhere on our own would be the best way to have the time to "come up for air" as we both worked all the way through lockdown here in UK and will do so now until Christmas.We made the best choice ever.Eli is amazing, so warm, friendly and that smile just lights up the room, she really is a lovely soul who will do anything to help you, suggest restaurants and just make things simple for your relaxing time away.The sheets and towels were constantly being changed, I have never stayed anywhere where you get so many fresh towels.There is a welcome pack on our arrival as we didn't land until late in the evening. This was cheese, ham, bread, fruit, bottled water, biscuits, fresh eggs, jam, lots of other things and a lovely bottle of wine too.The location suited us fine, we would walk from the villa into Sami to the end of the port for a beer, this justified the "pit stop".The very first morning that we walked down the driveway and turned left we were both gobsmacked............the view is just stunning and we didn't expect it as we arrived in the dark.I won't spoil things anymore for you but I have to say that we had the most amazing holiday ever.Fantastic villa with everything that you could needWonderful people, we never met a grumpy one in the whole time.Fabulous foodStunning weather and then.............Gorgeous Eli.Thank you Eli for everything that you did and for making us feel so welcome and everything so easy.Miss you

Great place to stay

This was a refreshing change from our usual holidays abroad- catching a ferry, driving through France and then putting up a tent! In contrast this holiday was so easy and relaxing. We stayed in Villa Fedra with our two teenage daughters. Elli, the owner, was friendly, lovely and helpful. The arrival welcome pack made a great lunch- so we didn't have to go straight out to the shops. The Villa itself was incredibly clean and spacious. At night you can close the shutters and windows and put on the air conditioning for a very cool and peaceful night's sleep. The bed linen and towels are changed half way through the week. The pool was wonderful- we possibly over-did it on the range of inflatables we brought but it was great fun. There is also plenty of shade. The local beach was a two minute walk- great for a quiet dip first thing in the morning. A local bakery and taverna is only a five minute walk away (afraid we ate too many pastries for breakfast!) Sami, the town is only a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction- great for bars, tavernas, or even for just walking around with an ice cream. We also went on a boat trip from Sami (E110 for 2 adults and 2 children) across to the Ithaca where there were plenty of beach and town stops- a great day out. We used the car to explore other parts of the island: Antisamos, Myrtos and Fiskardo, Agia Efimia. Everything seemed in easy reach and it didn't take too long to get the hang of Greek driving! All in all a great family holiday and a great place to stay- I couldn't recommend it enough. (PS the beaches in the north are more pebbly than sandy so take beach shoes for swimming and snorkels.)

Perfect location, minutes from the beach.

You are really only 100 steps from the beech. My family are runners so the location is great for running around the bay at sunrise, dipping in the calm waters to cool off and back for breakfast ready for the day.

Very generous hospitality, and good standards of cleaning. Very well designed villa and garden area. It was situated in a sheltered area just behind the beach front. There are several nearby shops for providing local food for a barbeque by the pool, and lots of bars and restaurants, providing traditional meals. No full English breakfasts here! And that's a good thing. All this is an easy, short, flat walk away along the beach front. Sami is a very attractive working port, and all the local people we me were charming and friendly. Insect repellent recommended.

Just back from a week at the Sami Beach Villas. I can only write an absolutely amazing review of our stay as it was just brilliant. The villa was perfect - great layout, super clean, pool was just amazing and lovely welcome, easy booking and perfectly located. Everything that is advertised about this villa is the absolute truth - it really is only 50m for a lovely beach. Its about a 15 minute walk back into Sami along the beach - so easy for evening meals. Cleaned regularly during our stay. Lovely welcome pack when we got there that meant we didn't have to venture out till the next day for provisions - much welcomed after a stupidly early morning flight. Kefalonia is a beautiful island - one of our favourites now. The villa is perfectly located to visit Sami, the cave lake (walkable) and was about 30 minutes drive to the west coast. We drove to the North via Assos for a day out and it was a perfect adventure - back via the smaller roads. Also went to Xi beach which was over an hour but 100% worth the drive, 100% recommend the villa and hope to be going back at some point.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in the three bedroomed Villa Fedra. When we arrived we were greeted by Eli and Michael who made us very welcome. The villa was spotless and they had provided a very generous welcome pack of food and drink (the cold beer and wine went down very well). It was really hot when we were there and the air con worked perfectly. The gardens and pool were well maintained and the villa was cleaned twice a week. The location of the villa was fantastic - a 3 minute walk to a quiet beach and a 15 minute walk into Sami. There was a bakery 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction. Overall we had a great holiday and the villa was in a perfect location near a lovely little town. Thank you to Eli and Michael for being such great hosts.

We have recently returned from a wonderful week in Villa Fedra. Elisabeth and Michael were fantastic hosts and made the transfer and booking excursions extremely easy. They're extremely warm and friendly and Elisabeth arranged for us to hire a boat from Agia effimia which was a great day. The villa is lovely and clean and the pool and outdoor area is great. It's a 2 min walk to the beach and if you walk a bit further down you can get 2 sunbeds for 5 euros. We also got a taxi to Antisamos beach which is 10 min drive away which was very beautiful and you can get kayaks and do other water sports there. It's about a 15 minute walk to Sami town where there are lovely tavernas. We really liked the mermaid taverna and Akgro giali Taverna (one of the first ones you get to from villa on the walk into town). Such a lovely week and highly recommended, thanks Elisabeth and Michael!
