Sunny Banks Villa Samui occupies a stunning location and enjoys incredible ocean views of the South-East of Samui Island. Despite its hilltop location Sunny Banks is very easy to reach by car without any white knuckle driving moments, just 1 minute from the main road.

Sunny Banks Villa Samui sits atop a lofty position overlooking the sea just to the South of Lamai and is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Samui airport. Set on 1 level only this stylishly designed and opulently appointed 4 bedroom villa is an ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy your island holiday. Cool sea breezes flow through the lush tropical hillside and filter throughout the villa where you can enjoy the stunning views from the pool terrace and living area.

The infinity swimming pool also offers incredible views. The large pool terrace has non-slip sand-wash and ample comfortable sun loungers. The poolside area is incredibly spacious, providing access to the lounge and kitchen areas.

All 4 bedrooms could be considered master bedrooms, 3 of which offer breathtaking views. The bedrooms have large and comfortable King & Queen-sized beds. The en-suite bathroom has a sink, shower, and private WC.

The tasteful decor throughout the property has been handpicked by the owners who have paid great attention to details. The property is light and breezy and offers a great deal of privacy. The layout of this property makes it ideal for couples sharing.

Located on the southwestern coastline of Koh Samui in Lamai, Sunny Banks Villa Samui has a perfect environment that really suits a retreat-like holiday. The location at Lamai is just 2km from the beach, and a 10-minute drive to Namuang with Chaweng a 15-minute drive away.

Perfection

The house was a home for home for myself and my family. Airport transfers worked a dream and the in house staff were simply perfect. Please ask them to cook Thai dishes for you- better than any bar or restaurant on the island. We will be back!

Beautiful resort in lamai

The pictures are wonderful but definitely even better when you arrive. Sunny Banks is much larger then the pictures make out and surprising the resort is on one level. My mom has mobility issues but with Sunny Banks being all on one level and zero steps…
The pictures are wonderful but definitely even better when you arrive. Sunny Banks is much larger then the pictures make out and surprising the resort is on one level. My mom has mobility issues but with Sunny Banks being all on one level and zero steps she had no issues at all. The resort has large and spacious bedrooms and 3 of the 4 bedrooms have picture perfect views of the sea. This resort is located up a short but not steep drive up a hill and stops at the end of the road. It appears that you wouldn't be coming up this roadway unless you lived here with the dead end road. The sand and people on the beach are visible from the pool and terrace. We did rent a vehicle but unless you intend on circling around the island you can walk to the main strip within 10 minutes and there is a large grocery store within a 5 minute walk from the resort. Can't remember the name of the grocery store but it was big, clean and carried many foreign foods and fresh fruits. There was also a nite market on the main strip in Lamai and they offered local handmade trinkets, linen, sunglasses and food food food. We had no idea about this market and walked into it one evening after dinner. According to one of the vendors there are nite markets set around the island on different day. Overall the resort is clean, child friendly, mobility friendly and could accommodate 10 adults with ease. There is amble chairs, cold cold air conditioning and and plenty of areas to simply lounge. Lastly, the management did offer other services such as baby sitting and meals at an additional fee but we didn't opt for any of those options.

The resort is clean, gorgeous, perfect for a family, perched high up and giving you a fantastic view of the sea. Very close to the beach, Makro for groceries, the Lamai strip for restaurants and a British International school. The swimming pool was big, had built in benches, our 2 year old was able to splash around with little worry and the plus was relaxing on the premium sun loungers and outdoor furniture. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the master suites both had jacuzzis. Although we spent most time in the pool the jacuzzi was rarely used but our kids did turn off/on the jets when used. The kitchen was modern, fully stocked and functional but there was a summer kitchen too. Usually, we don't cook much on vacations but with the 2 kitchens and Makro 100m away we prepared home cooked meals on a occasion. Our stay was for a week but in the future we would likely stay for 2 weeks or more. The resort was relaxing and we could definitely of stayed longer if had the time. The early morning sunrise and sun set is beautiful. Friesen family
