Splendid Villa Chania is a freshly built 2 storey 200 sqm accommodation located in Darmarochori village, with astonishing views and modern design. The villa is ideal for large families, it is near the beach and it unites luxury and low price. Enjoy the incomparable sense of hospitality watching the azure waters of the Aegean.

If you choose to relax in Splendid Villa Chania, the view of the mountains and the sea is incredible and slightly changes during the day as the sun moves across the sky. 

The villa has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms,2 fully equipped kitchens and it can house up to 12 persons. Specifically, it consists of 2 separate apartments, one in each storey. On the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one more with 2 single beds. It also contains 2 bathrooms, one with toilet and bathtub and one more with toilet and shower. On this level, there is also the cosy living room with LCD TV and a large sofa bed that can be converted into a double bed in order to accommodate 2 extra persons. Finally, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table so you can enjoy your meals all together.

On the first floor, there are 3 more bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with large double beds and one more bedroom with 2 single beds. There are also 2 bathrooms, one with toilet and bathtub and one more with toilet and shower. There is also a spacious living room with a cosy sofa, LCD TV and a large dining table. At this level, there is also a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, refrigerator, oven and generally everything you need to prepare a meal. As you can see, Splendid Villa Chania combines sea and mountain views that you can enjoy from all the rooms.

Outdoors, in the middle of the garden, surrounded by trees, flowers and lawn, stands the 45sqm large swimming pool, which has a depth of up to 1,70m. However, the swimming pool has also a smaller pool, which is ideal for children. Moreover, there is also a BBQ, a comfortable outdoor dining area and a hedged parking space for 4 cars minimum.

The Villa is in a very nice location on the hill between the olive groves and the view of the sea and the olive groves is fantastic. The house is divided into two apartments that are very nicely furnished with all amenities and are perfect if you are two families. We were even able to eat together on one of the balcony patios. The pool area is at the front of the house with 12 sunbeds available and there is also a patio area with tables, BBQ facilities and a lovely hammock. The house also had a ping pong table.

A big fully equipped house with all we needed for relaxing holidays! The villa has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, balconies overlooking the sea, barbeque, garden and large swimming pool. We rent the villa with some good friends and we had fantastic time. The beach and some nice restaurants are less than 5 minutes away, we recommend the Villa!

The villa is located in a very strategic place for exploring the beaches that Crete is famous for, such as Falassarna(only about 20 minutes drive away), Ballos and Elafonisi. It is newly renovated with all the amenities and nicely done, really beautiful decoration! We had a warm welcome from the hosts with wine, fruits and handmade pies.They responded quickly to all our requests during and before our stay.

We loved our stay at Splendid Villa. My husband and I and our two teenage daughters rented the top suite for nearly two weeks in August. The apartmen is situated in the hills amongst oliv groves overlooking the ocean in a distance. There is a wonderful covered deck (to keep the sun out!) where we ate all of our meals. The apartment is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. There is good air conditioning in every rook although we only needed it a couple of days. The windows are all screened and have shutters to keep out the sun. There is a pool on the grounds that the girls swam in every day. The owners mother lives on the ground floor and cleaned our apartment every couple of days. Crete is a wonderful island - gorgeous beaches, friendly people, delicious produce and cheese and interesting archeological sites and cities. We are looking forward to returning.

Highly Recommended !

We were traveling as an extended family, parents and 7 young adults, and the house in Darmarochori was really perfect for us. Two separate apartments and a nice pool + lovely balconies. The welcome was warm and generous. There is an old couple, the in-laws of Christina, who manages the apartments, living in the basement floor, but they were very easy to get along with, even though they do not speak English. We needed help with the locks a few time and they were generous enough to help us at even very odd hours. We had a car, which is really necessary, as the house is outside the city. Yet, shops, a bus stop as well as Chania are not far away. There’s also an interesting local winery just a few km away, at a walking distance. Why I am not giving five stars is that the equipment of the house was just very basic, for example the cooking utensils etc. were a bit lacking. Also the furniture was sparse, as often is the case with apartments that are used only for renting to guests and are not anybody’s home. All in all, I would warmly recommend the house for anyone!
